A conflict is brewing between the "Farmer Seeks Wife" contestants Siegfried and Simone, due to the farmer's table manners.
Odenwaldkreis – As is well known, the way to the heart is through the stomach – that's exactly what Bullenwirt Siegfried (63) seems to have thought about "Farmer Seeks Woman" and invites his lady-in-waiting Simone (55) to a gourmet afternoon together in the new episode of the RTL show. In the process, however, the mood threatens to change, because his table manners completely fail with the blonde single woman.

After a romantic swim, Siegfried invites Simone to dinner at "Farmer Seeks Woman". The two are served a large platter full of so-called "Hessian tapas" – a real treat for the farmer. He ravenously devours the many different dips, licks his fingers with relish and doesn't seem to mind that parts of his feast fall onto the plate on the way to his mouth. Simone is not very impressed by the whole thing and repeatedly throws disapproving glances at the munching Siegfried.
"Take a look at what it looks like at your place," Simone says, but Siegfried only remarks with a smacking: "It's normal here in the Odenwald." However, the single lady cannot watch the unbridled feasting and hands her counterpart a napkin. "Siegfried eating, I think I still have to educate him, after all, the eye eats with you," she sums up after the tapas date and emphasizes: "Must also look appetizing."
The First Dating Show
Today, everyone knows the many dome shows such as "The Bachelor", "Love Island" or even "Farmer Seeks Woman". But the history of the most romantic of all TV formats goes back to the 60s. In 1965, "The Dating Game" was the first show on the American channel ABC about singles in search of love. The special thing about it was that the candidates were separated by a colorful wall and could not see each other. So when choosing the perfect partner, you had to listen to your heart completely.

Of course, Simone does not leave the lack of etiquette of her potential man of the heart uncommented. "As a man, I really like you, but there are still some things that need to be worked on with you. For example, when it comes to table manners," she notes, but Siegfried can't quite understand her. "I eat with a knife and fork, I don't smack," he defends his eating habits, "You have to get used to it. When I'm hungry, I don't know any boundaries, that's the top priority."

"I think Siegfried is sometimes awkward," Simone is visibly contrite after the day together, "He somehow didn't understand what I wanted from him. He still has a lot to learn." Will the two be able to find a common denominator in terms of romance and cuisine? That will become clear in the coming weeks. In the dome show, meanwhile, there was also a real moment of shock, because Lisa almost demolished Christoph's farm during "Farmer Seeks Woman".
